Hajj 2010, The Great Pilgrimage
According to the Islamic calendar, the 2010 Hajj is November 14-17. The hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. In the Quran, the word hajj occurs nine times in five different verses (Quran 2:189 [3x]; Quran 2:196 [3x]; Quran 2:192; Quran 9:3; and Quran 22:27. The hajj is also referred to as the Great Pilgrimage in contrast to the umrah or Little Pilgramage.Please pray for the 2-3 million Muslims who travel on Hajj to Mecca to fulfill this pillar of Islam.

Waqf-el-Arafat
Waqf-el-Arafat is a commemoration after the first day of the hajj (November 15) when Muslims commemorate the conclusion of Allah’s revelations to Muhammad on Mount Arafat. Muslims on Hajj, attend special services on Waqf-el-Arafat at Mount Arafat.
