A Muslim double standard?
Muslims commonly ask non-Muslims,
- “Have you read the Quran?” 1Strictly speaking, many Muslims cannot read the Quran because they cannot speak Arabic.
- “Don’t judge Islam when you haven’t read the Quran.“
Have you ever wondered how many Muslims have read the Bible?
I’ve invited many Muslims from dozens of nations to read the Bible, but not many have taken up my invitation. These are the kinds of answers they give,
- “The Bible is corrupt”
- “I have all I need in the Quran”
- “The Quran has replaced the Bible”
This is a double standard. Muslims say they want dialogue. Muslims say they want to be understood. Muslims frequently point out that others haven’t read the Quran, and yet most Muslims have never read the Bible.
Is it any wonder why Muslims feel misunderstood?
Islamic Hypocrisy?
Muslims not only have a problem of double standards but hypocrisy.
- How many Christians are afraid to carry their Bible in Muslim countries?
- How many Muslim women and children would fear for their safety, if they were caught reading a Bible?
- How many Muslim countries forbid the distribution of Bibles?
Muslims have invited me to read the Quran. I have accepted their invitation, but will you now accept my invitation to read the Bible? If not, why not?

I think you are completely wrong. I have read the Bible in English and in Arabic {both languages] and what I have discovered is shocking: the Christians do NOT read the bible.
if u have read it you ‘d discover that Jesus said “Do Not call me son of God.” if you read your bible you’d notice that God promised Abraham that there will be prophets from his sons [not son] that means Isac and Ishmael. we know who are the sons of Isac who became prophets; how about the sons of Ishmael.
there are a lot more than that in the Bible if you want to discuss it.

Are you saying that I am completely wrong about the place of the Bible and its distribution in Muslim countries?
Do you have a biblical reference where Jesus said, “Do Not call me son of God”? Did Jesus deny that He was the Son of God? Do you know what Son of God means?
I would encourage you to read the Bible more carefully:
Ishmael became a great man and from him came twelve tribes (Genesis 25:16). Ishmael’s son Kedar became a very powerful tribe and queens and kings of the Kedarites are mentioned in ancient inscriptions attesting to his greatness. Nevertheless, the Bible is clear that while Ishmael was not an heir of Abraham, he and his descendants could still inherit the blessing of salvation promised to Abraham by believing in the Messiah, Jesus (Isaiah 42:10-12; 60:7) – the son of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Matthew 1:1-2). That is why Jesus is called the Savior of the world (John 3:16; 12:32). His salvation is for all peoples, tribes, nations and languages.
