The Psalms and God’s Greatness
Of all the works that speak of God’s greatness – the Psalms are some of the best (Psalm 8:1). The Psalms speak about God’s greatness in His condescension (Psalm 113:4-6): – His creation of us us (Psalm 8:3-5); caring for us from womb to tomb (Psalm 139:13-16); speaking to us (Psalm 12:6; Psalm 19:7-11); His listening to us (Psalm 17:6-8); His provision of food for us (Psalm 104:21); His salvation accomplished by the sending of His beloved Son (Psalm 2; 22).
Here is a wonderful video in which we can see God’s greatness from the smallest of things – two people on a picnic to the outer expanses of the galaxies, and then zooming in on a proton.
